San Antonio magazine Best of the City

San Antonio magazine has named Troy’s Classic Albums Live concert series Best Twist on a Classic Concert in the magazine’s Best of the City 2017 issue:

 Tchaikovsky and Mozart will always impress, but Youth Orchestras of San Antonio’s pop tributes that include guest appearances by local rock and pop bands are the perfect fusion of classical and modern. Last year the musicians brought the Beatles’ Abbey Road album to life, and on March 8, YOSA’s near professional level group, the Philharmonic, will perform Purple Rain Live along with Nina Diaz, PM Soul and others who put their own spin on Prince’s hits.
